HI HEROES!
My name is Vader, the official ambassador for Endangered Species Heroes.
As you know, black cats face many adoption challenges. I’m sure you’ve heard the old wives tale “Crossing paths with a black cat is bad luck”. I know you are smart enough to know that this superstition is just not true.
Another adoption challenge we face is that we are less noticeable or desirable then our other colorful fellow felines who get adopted quickly. Sadly, we have to wait much longer until we find a loving family willing to offer us our forever home.
My family wasn’t planning on adopting another cat. That all changed the day they saw me at the shelter. I instantly melted their hearts and they knew they couldn’t leave without me.
I was fortunate that day and my luck changed. From that moment on I knew it was time to pay it forward.
You may be asking, what does this have to do with endangered species? I’m so glad you asked.
When you think of endangered species, what animal comes to mind first. Giraffes, Hippos, Elephants, Rhinos, or Orangutans? These are just a few of the standout animals that are most talked about and get the most attention.
Lesser known species such as the ….or the…..who may not be as desirable to the eye are just as important. Every species plays an important role to sustain a healthy environment.
Just as I depend on my family for survival, many of my friends are not as fortunate and they are secretly vanishing from the Earth at a rapid pace.
As an Endangered species Ambassador, my goal is to change the luck of many species no matter how great or small, who are on the path to extinction.
I will introduce you to many of my friends while sharing resources and information about their plight for survival and the many easy steps you can start today to help.
It’s not all sad; I will also share positive stories on heroes who have stepped in and brought back some of my friends who were on the brink of extinction, proving that together we can make a difference.
My friends are looking for heroes today. Together we can help keep my endangered friends from becoming a figment of our imagination tomorrow and future generations to come.
Oh and not to brag, black cats were once revered and considered sacred in ancient Egypt. Just saying.
So glad to have you join me on this incredible journey.
Be sure you follow our Instagram page where I will share some of my favorite “Did you know” video installments.
