I am so excited to introduce you to my Endangered Species Heroes site.
My name is Debbie Tremblay, and I am blogging from the tiny state of Rhode Island. I always had a passion and curiosity for nature and wildlife. My childhood was spent exploring the woods, and local trails while observing the variety of woodland animals who visited our backyard.
As I grew older, life became filled with work and raising my family. I was still able to sneak in my love for nature by teaching my children the importance of appreciation their local environment, as well as family trips to zoos, aquariums, and nature parks.
Now that my children are grown, the urge to reignite my curiosity and love for animals that I felt in my childhood has been restored once again. Every time I go to a zoo or animal sanctuary, I learn the most fascinating facts about species from around the globe and how dangerously close we are losing many of these magnificent creatures forever.
Honestly, I could have turned a blind eye because my thoughts were “I am only person, how can I make a difference! ” While I cannot do it alone, I remembered a quote by Napoleon Hill, “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.”
Spending the day with my loving and supportive husband of over 37 years, Christopher Tremblay, at one of our favorite Disney Parks, Animal Kingdom.
I have big plans and hope you join us on this journey to ensure that these magnificent creatures do not become a figment of our imagination tomorrow.
Along with my ambassador Vader, our mission is to share resources, information, tips, and more on how anyone can make a difference today.
